Welcome to Group Two Blog on Asian Horror Films. I’m sure you all heard of the films The Grudge, One Missed Call, Old Boy, and the Uninvited. But did you know these well-known movies Originated in Asia first. America took these Asian Films and rebooted them to American Versions.  We are taking four well known movies in America and comparing them to it’s Original Version made in Asia. When it comes to Horror films it is East Vs. West in Asian Horror Films and their remakes.

Asian Horror Films are not only scary, but they give you their Cultural Identity in their movies. They put Hollywood A-listers to shame in horror Films. Asian Horror Films may not have actors you are aware of but these movies and actors but Hollywood Horror to shame. Asian Horror films will have you jumping out of your seats and have you terrified to go to sleep. These movies traveled miles to get remade by American Directors and Actors having the plots get twisted and Americanized with A-list Celebrities. Be Ready To get Terrified well these movies give you Nightmares.

American Directors have taken these films and rebooted them from their Original Versions. Not all Hollywood remakes live up to the expectations of good ratings. Some films did live up to the hype of Asian Horror in both East VS. West like The Ring, and The Grudge, are two films that payed closed attention to Japanese Horror. Well others had their Downfall and didn’t live up to Japanese Horror Expectations.
